# Welcome 2022!

### Happy New Year!

We’re starting 2022 out strong and have a lot in store for our community of home sewers.

#### We conducted an email survey last year and learned about what motivates you and what you need to be successful your home sewing practice.  
  
Here is how we’re adapting to what you had to say:

#### _Many of you wish you had more TIME to work on sewing projects._ 

#### Though we’re unable to make the earth spin a little slower, we are able to create simpler patterns. Our next six styles will be a part of a capsule collection and designed with the sewers sanity in mind.

#### _A majority of you just really LOVE sewing as a hobby._ 

#### Having control over your individual style came in second as motivation for sewing. Our capsule collection will offer simple styles with variations, so you can really put each pattern to work. They will provide optionality and the chance for multiple makes.

#### _Sewing and pattern making EDUCATION would be much appreciated._

#### We have the beginnings of a blog and video library! So many more resources to help you get behind your machine are being adding regularly.  
Supporting you in your home sewing practice doesn’t stop at the pattern release. We’re committing ourselves to:  
  
Sew alongs  
Fabric guidance  
Style projects  
Pattern hacks  
Pattern making skills  
Sustainability practices  
and other tips & tricks  
  
We’re designing six styles for the 2022 capsule collection and they begin releasing in the Spring.
