Bumper Jumper Sew Along
This is our fourth capsule sewing pattern of 2022. Every home sewn capsule wardrobe needs a jumpsuit and this one is a blank slate for you to modify as you see fit. In this sew along, we make a belt with the left over scraps, but you could leave it as, add an elastic back channel or even darts.
The Bumper Jumper is offered in sizes XXS - 6X. See our size chart for the complete measurements. We highly recommend making a muslin before you cut the final fabric. Follow the pattern adjustment directions in our digital package to modify the rise and get a perfect fit.
This is our first digital sewing pattern offered in our extended size range. This jumpsuit pattern goes up to 62” in the bust and 65” in the hips. We’re working to update all of our sewing patterns with the new sizes.
Above: Sara reviewed the Bumper Jumper pattern. She used a size 2X at the shoulders and bust, grading to a 4X at the hips. No alterations. She also added an elastic channel at the lower back to create some shaping.

The Bumper Blouse is simply the upper half of the Bumper Jumper.
It’s a fun little throw-on piece and a great project for using up smaller yardage in your stash. There’s no darts or set-in sleeves to fuss over either. The self faced sleeves provide options for your sleeve length. Make yourself proud with the mitered corners along the side-slits and slightly longer back.

Fabric suggestions: The Silo Dress can be made with woven or knit fabric. Use something with drape to get that cowl neck look or make it stand up straight with a stiffer fabric. The body has a slight funnel shape which lends well to a fabric with a little structure. Try it in a knit and make it the most comfortable outfit you own.

Where do you go when the record is over? The answer is: anywhere you want, because the Disco tee is down for anything. Both patterns in this package have similar construction, but offer two very different looks. The shoulder darts give the look a little something without making you work too hard.
