We're thrilled to announce the release of the Remnant Re-Make Kit Hip Pack Kit, a collaboration between indie clothing designer Elizabeth Suzann and Open Studio Patterns.  

Elizabeth Suzann Studio has been producing their ready-to-wear line at Sew Co., our industrial sewing factory, for 2 years. Sew Co. loves working with Elizabeth Suzann Studio because the two companies are so values aligned.  Elizabeth Suzann Studio is making high-quality garments with consciously sourced natural fibers - the crew at Sew Co. really enjoys making these products and they feel supported and appreciated by the Elizabeth Suzann team.  

Any fabric scraps left over after production are sent to Material Return for recycling. Our clever minds thought, why not really flex our sustainability muscles and turn this left behind fabric into a kit! What’s even better that recycling production waste? Using up bins of Elizabeth Suzann Studio denim before it even needed to be loaded onto a truck and processed into new fabrics.

This Remnant Re-Make Kit has all the materials you will need to make our Hip Pack design. There’s no need to source the hardware and notions because we have done it for you. The sewing project kit include: fabric, zipper, quick-release clasp, slider, belt webbing, pattern and QR code linked to the digital instructions.
